Pitch Black Asphalt Emulsion Sealcoat is the leader in asphalt maintenance. It has been thriving in the industry for more than 70 years. The producers of this product have more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing asphalt emulsion sealcoat.
They have gone beyond in specifying the types and percentages of crude oils to be used in the asphalt emulsification process. They added specific, custom emulsifiers to make Pitch Black Asphalt Emulsion Sealcoat readily accept minerals, fillers, and additives.
This asphalt emulsion sealcoat is a premium, proprietary polymer reinforced, high-grade, custom rubberized, premixed one. Blended with carefully selected minerals, fillers, and fibers, this superior asphalt maintenance product creates highly adhesive and extremely flexible sealcoat. It has the deepest and longest-lasting black color, firmest body, and greatest durability.
This nonflammable sealcoat is free from asbestos fibers or any other carcinogenic materials. Its coefficient of expansion and contraction is identical to asphalt concrete pavements. That’s why it is recommended for repairs and maintenance, particularly for the protection of existing asphalt concrete pavements. These include:

Pitch Black Asphalt Emulsion Sealcoat weatherproofs porous asphalt surfaces. It helps prohibit the penetration of water and oil, and it serves as a blockage for harmful ultraviolet rays. It gives a tough protective coating on asphalt pavement surfaces. In addition, this sealcoat fills small voids and seals in spalling particles. It helps create a smoother surface and allow better run-off of water.

Cold/Hot Pour Rubber Crack
Hot pour crack filler is applied using a rubber melter and is designed to fill cracks larger than 1/2" and no larger than 2". It is sometimes difficult to fill cracks on edges or culverts using this method.
Cracks typically should be filled every year to minimize future erosion. For deeper cracks, we use sand first to prevent the crack filler from draining through the crack. For smaller surface cracks, we use cold pour crack filler.
We prep the surface before sealcoating, which includes cleaning cracks and edges of weeds and debris. Pressure washing 24 hours prior to the surface prep is highly recommended. When the job is complete, we rope off driveway to keep traffic off for minimum of 24 hours, but 48 hours is recommended.
